Confinale opens new Swiss office in Lugano

From October 2023, Confinale will also be represented by an office in the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland. With a central location in Switzerland's third-largest financial centre and a powerful team of experienced consultants, Confinale remains true to its strategy of being close to its clients. As a result, the company now has a nationwide presence and can support banks throughout Switzerland and Europe. With its office in Lugano, Confinale is located in the direct vicinity of its strategic partner Avaloq. Avaloq operates its largest location worldwide in the Ticino FinTech Hub Lugano. The very successful partnership - Confinale is one of Avaloq's few Premium Implementation Partners - will be able to be further expanded thanks to the physical proximity.

In the six offices in Zug, Zurich, Geneva, Düsseldorf, London and Lugano, over 120 consultants, legal experts, IT architects and software engineers work together with specialist and technology partners to develop and implement the best digitalisation solutions for banks in each case.

The new location is headed by Stefan Keller. Thanks to his many years of experience internationally and in the Ticino Avaloq environment, he will actively drive the development of the new location with his expertise.

Therefore, the company has entered into a partnership with USI, the local university, through the Faculty of Computer Science. Among other things, the two parties are planning practical projects in which the university's students are allowed to try their hand at real challenges in the banking environment. This will allow students to test their knowledge on real cases while making a valuable contribution to financial institutions.
